This is a crowd funded project with the goal of creating a non-profit, unbiased test facility for home automation, domestic robotics, and alternative energy sources for home use. At present we are raising funds, however we are expecting to begin testing early in the new year.
Why such a basic website? Why not a proper domain name?
Our goal is to devote every dollar that is raised for this project to the research projects, not to flashy website design. However once funding has been achieved, we do intend to move to a dedicated domain name and to upgrade this website to better present the results of our studies.
Where can I donate?
At present we are raising funds through the crowd funding site, .... Donations can be made there, under the terms and conditions listed there.
I would like to work for the MERLIN Project, where can I submit an application?
We are not currently hiring. When we do have openings in the future, they will be posted here along with information on the application process.
